When comparing the market please take particular note to the windows and doors and the quality of our competitors. We do not skimp on quality and supply as standard "Tilt & Turn' windows with a 5 point locking system for security and added rubber weatherproof sealing for a perfect shut everytime.

Construction
The Meribel log cabin is constructed from a choice of wall thicknesses: 34, 44, 70mm thick top quality softwood with double tongue and groove joints and wind tight chalet-connections to the corners.
The door is supplied with cylinder lock and handles. Both the door and window are glazed.
Windows and doors are double glazed on all buildings with the wall profiles: 34mm / 44mm / 70mm
The cabin is delivered untreated offering you the opportunity to protect and decorate it to your own personal taste. Untreated buildings do naturally grey with age within around 12 months; therefore we recommend that you treat the cabin during construction with a high quality preservative and at regular intervals according to the preservative manufacturer's instructions.
The Log Cabin is delivered with temporary packaging to protect it during transportation. Although an outside product the wood should be treated or kept dry during the construction process. We recommend that any exposed timber is covered immediately after delivery to avoid any blue stain issues.
The base is constructed with pressure treated bearers for maximum durability and includes a FREE floor.
The cabin should be constructed on a firm level base whether that is solid sheet concrete, concrete slabs or tanalized bearers.

Base

Installation Service
We have a team of fitters who have over 30 years experience in the constructing of log cabins. The team are professional and friendly and offer a stress free build of your cabin. You will need to prepare your base prior to the team arriving to constructed your log cabin. We aim to coincide the installation with the delivery of your log cabin, with us normally delivering your cabin the day prior to the install team arriving. You may need to store the cabin for 24/48 hours prior to your arranged install date. Installation is normally 1-2 days with the team arriving at 7am to get a good start! (coffee always appreciated)
The cost for installation is 25% of the total price (including extra's like shingles etc). Please call for further info. If you wish to take the installation service you will need to call us to place your order, as we will need to manually add the cost to your log cabin order.
*Deliveries to most parts of mainland UK are free of charge, however deliveries to certain remote areas may be subject to a surcharge. Deliveries to the Channel Islands and Scottish Isles, Orkney are delivery only to UK mainland port. You will need to arrange the forward delivery from the UK mainland port.
Please Note This is a kerb side delivery only. If you have any special requirements or believe access to your address may be difficult for our delivery driver please contact us. If a refuge vehicle can gain access then generally our delivery lorry should be able to but if in doubt please get in touch with us. If you feel you may be located in such an area please call to check prior to ordering. You will be liable for any additional delivery charges if we are unable to access your property.
