Installation
- For maximum efficiency radiators should be fixed at not less than 100mm (4”) from finished floor level.
- Pipe positioning guide for manual valve allow 35mm to centre of pipe. For TRV valve allow 45mm to centre of pipe.
- To prevent damage to radiator it is strongly recommended during installation to leave protective packaging on radiator by simply removing lug protecters and pre cut tapping connection.
Water Treatment / Corrosion Inhibitor
It is strongly recommended that where appropriate all indirect/closed heating systems are cleansed by a flushing agent and treated with a central heating system inhibitor before installing the radiator; according to the specifications of the British Standard for preparation, commissioning and maintenance of domestic central heating and cooling water systems, BS 7593:2019. This is especially important if the product is an addition to an existing system and would ensure the continued efficiency and longevity of the manufacturing guarantee.
